I'm still recuperating from my hard drives problem. Now, I'm told that these hard drives only last 2 to 3 years. That means I have to buy new ones because mine are pretty old. Gosh, ya make a nickel and have to spend a dime... The story of my life.

On a happier note: A local magazine "Gorgeous Magazine" gave me an excellent write up on my videos this month. Several web fans forwarded me some review links. Here is one

AND!!! Thank you everyone for your gifts and Birthday cards/email. Russell for your 2006 book and cute pix of you, Mike for your KFC gift certificates, Steve SF for a box of La Maison du Chocolat, Frits for a nice contribution and two original art prints by Goh Mishima. Thank you all for some naughty birthday cards. Thank you so much for thinking of me.

On my Bday (10-24th), Max Gunz flew in from SF. A small group of friends took me to Todai the all you can eat sushi and seafood. Ohmygosh, I ate 4 plates of sushi and 3 plates of king crab legs and a diet coke. Afterward we went over to another friend's house and they surpised me with my all time favorite Italian Wedding cake from Sweet Lady Jane (A great cake store in Los Angeles).  I was in heaven!!!

I spent the last 3 days in hell. Trying to be safe with my data, I started doing back up. In the process, 4 of my Western Digital hard drives got corrupted and I lost half of my data (220 GB divided in two hard drives consist of all my photos and videos). Got the Data Recovery Software (dont ask me how I got it) and trying to recover my damaged data. Luckily I was able to get back 95% of my stuff. I spent hours on the phone with Western Digital & Dell. Finally, I was told to reinstall my windows. That took a whole day... Now my f'ing Dell puter can't see any drive larger than 137GB.

So pissed, I ate an entire bag of Chip Ahoy cookies on day three.

Today, it rain and thunder like the end of the world here in Los Angeles. The electricity kept on surging. Note to self, save some money for 3 surge protectors. One lightning blinded me and the thunder followed sounded like an A-bomb. I yanked all the plugs out of the wall, picked up my two cats, and ran into my bedroom... So much for being productive.

With nothing to do, I watched TV in the middle of day. Stuck on You (Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear) by the Farrelly Brothers. Gosh, I love the Farrelly Brothers. The movie was great with appearances by Cher and Meryl Streep. It was about these two conjoined twin brothers. The Farelly hired a pair of real life conjoined twins, Lori and Reba Schappell as technical consultants. Lori works in computer and Reba is pursuing her dream as a country singer.

It made me think... There are people out there with incredible odds and they are going for it. Anyway, when Reba Schappell sang her song at the end of the movie. I totally lost it.

Here are me and my buds at Folsom Street Fair 2005. We couldn't walk 2 feet without getting our pictures taken. It was crazy. I didn't do much this year... just walking around and being a car crash for tourists.

Several people called me to let me know that they showed video footage of me from the street fair on Fox News... with that hypocrite Bill O'Reilly. Everyone talks about moral this and moral that, then they get caught with a prostitute or some other sex scandal. It's 2005 and the public are still can't think for themselves... That's why these jerks (politian, clergies, self proclaimed moral leaders)... these "Do as I say not as I do" idiots are still around.

I refuse to conform and be squeezed into this "righteous" box. Why do you think alcohol is a billion dollar industry? It's a very tight box and most need to be medicated somehow. If not alcohol, then there's a long list of vices. Me... no need for vices here. I get high on life :)

At Folsom, these tourists have these great big smiles when they see someone like me... Someone with imagination and freedom of expression. I'm sure these smiles will linger when they get back to their work cubicals and chip away at them 30 year mortgages.

And that's all worth it for me.
