I'm back from camping. There's nothing like hiking nude. I ran into this cool meditation cabin in the mountain. It's a little shack with an incredible view. The sign at the door said "You are welcome to use the space. Please take off your shoes."
Harbin Hot Springs is just north of Calistoga , California. On the way back, I drove through Napa Valley, the wine country and bought a couple bottles of desert wine. Since I don't drink, I like some with ice cream for desert. Ate lunch at a winery with some fancy name... picnic style. Boy, that was an expensive picnic but the food was worth it.
Hey guys, thanks for a flood of email regarding my Asia trip in August! I mostly got.. "Hey Van, check out this hot gay bar in Bangkok" or "You have to visit gay sauna..." Well, the weird thing about me is I don't go out. I'm not big with the social thing. That's why I go camping a lot. I love solitude of nature and once in a while I run into another camper. That's cool. So the reason for the Asia trip is the get in touch with my roots and get inspired somehow. I like to visit the little villages. Visit a couple of temples for my best friend who passed away in March because he loved Buddhist meditation.
